After surviving colonialism, genocide and globalization the features of Dominican Tainos have evolved. Instead of highlighting one set of features Dominican artisans choose to honor us all. In this Señorita Keychain we see each other, and ourselves.
Made of porcelain and hand sculpted she holds a basket displaying her cosecha. Each Señorita Keychain will be accompanied by my poem El Camino.
