Ojala Threads` Chacabana bodysuit is our love letter to grandfathers. Inspired by the shirts worn by our elders this piece mimics the weaving of the Chacabanas and Guayaberas worn by our elders. I designed it as a thank you to abuelos everywhere for being a safe space and modeling healthy masculinity. Chacabanas/ guayaveras are no longer common but they hold, for me, beautiful memories. Its my hope that it creates the same for your family.
Our Bodysuits are made from a custom fabric that supports baby's movements with built in stretch. We hand-print them using water based non toxic inks that wash beautifully. Generously sized our pieces are cut larger than standard baby onesies taking the guessing work out of shopping for little ones. Shoulder flaps make undressing easier, even in the messiest situation.
